The Universal Target Systems Ltd (UTSL) MSAT-500 NG Aerial Target is part of the low cost high performance MSAT-500 NG AERIAL TARGET SYSTEM. The MSAT-500 NG Aerial Target is a reliable training tool assuring a solution to cost effective training budgets for air defence gunnery, missile firings and weapon operator training. Operational over both land and sea, MSAT-500 NG can be utilised to simulate the threat of attacking enemy aircraft, missiles and RPVs/drones.
Operated in full automatic mode the flight is pre programmed before take off for completely automatic flight out to ranges in excess of 100 Km. Utilising UTSL’s own digital avionics incorporating Global Positioning Service (GPS) and Inertial Navigation Systems (INS) via UTSL’s fully integrated avionics suite and advanced Tracking Command and Telemetry Station (TCTS) the MSAT-500 NG Aerial Target System is one of the most capable Air Defence Training Aids available. The system can be reliably deployed on-site within 60 minutes and is configured for fully automatic operations in both day and night time conditions.
UTSL supplies complete aerial target systems or target services utilising UTSL experienced target operators. Aerial target operator flight training programs are carried out to customers individual requirements.
UTSL air vehicles can be fitted with industry standard enhancements to enable correct weapon function. Variants of the MSAT-500 NG Aerial Target can also be supplied to satisfy Electronic Warfare (EW), Electronic Counter Measures (ECM) and low cost surveillance requirements
