Gunnery Subsonic Aerial Target : GSAT-200 NG

The Universal Target Systems Ltd (UTSL) GSAT-200 NG Aerial Target is part of a very low cost Air Defence training system. Operational over land and sea GSAT-200 NG is used to simulate the threat of attacking enemy aircraft, missiles or RPVs/drones, therefore making ‘live’ training as realistic and cost effective as possible. GSAT-200 NG is an extremely reliable training tool assuring a solution to cost effective training budgets for Air Defence gunnery, missile and weapon operator training. The system is capable of performing day and night missions with its ability to carry all industry standard target augmentations.
Operated in visual sight of the target operator GSAT-200 NG can be effectively used as a basic close range target for heat seeker Surface to Air Missiles (SAMs) or close range gunnery. A Visual Tracking Unit (VTU) incorporating high quality binoculars is used by the target operator to track the target during extended range operations. Various enhancements can be fitted including infrared flares, visual tracking flares, laser reflectors and miss distance scoring systems.
