Universal Targets Systems Limited (UTSL) specialise in the design and manufacture of aerial targets, launch systems, command and control systems and all equipment used in relation to Remotely Piloted Vehicles (RPVs) and Air Defence training for the defence industry.  One of our main products, aerial target drones, are used for operations over air, land and sea and provide a cost effective method of training personnel in familiarisation and use of primarily Air Defence weapon systems.  Unmanned Air Vehicles (UAV’s) are also manufactured by UTSL for battlefield ‘over the hill’ surveillance.

Universal Target Systems Ltd (UTSL) is based in South East England close to the national motorway network and, being only an hour away from central London and 30 minutes from the Channel Tunnel, is ideally situated to service Europe and overseas customers. 

Operating from a modern industrial unit with adjacent flying site UTSL is a pro active company in a highly competitive market.

The Company provides full technical and maintenance support of its entire product range; in-country Aerial Target and RPV operator training courses; Aerial Target operating services to Defence Ministries who wish UTSL personnel to operate their own already procured Aerial Targets; Aerial Target operating services to weapon manufacturers for evaluation and marketing of their own systems.  UTSL also provides commonality spare parts and operating services for other non UTSL Aerial Target Systems.

Senior UTSL personnel have a total of over 40 years experience in the design, manufacture and operation of Aerial Target systems and UAV Systems worldwide.  UTSL equipment is in service in the United Kingdom and around the world.
